I was looking to add kettlebells to my home gym. I owned one kettlebell (standard perform better) that I bought on craigslist and used it enough that I thought it would be a good idea to add additional bells to the gym. First, I needed to do some research. There are many different options available. Brands. Pro-Grade vs Standard. Grip. Material (iron or steel and paint). Proper weight selection. Cost. My thought was buy once and buy the best with what I could afford and build off it as money comes available. After lots of reading I decided to go with the Ader. The research/reviews were top notch and Rogue's committment to selling only the best were a couple of strong reasons for my decision. I placed one order for two 16kg bells and two 24kg bells. A little later on I placed a 2nd order for one 8 kg bell and one 20kg bell. These two orders are night and day. On one order the paint on the bells is bumpy and unfinished as well as the handle being rough. The other order is everything that I would have expected from Ader/Rogue. Smooth, Finished. Quality bell. The rough, bumpy bells are showing signs of rust and are peeling paint. While the smooth show no signs of rust or peeling. I'm very disappointed in the inconsistency in the orders. How can you order with confidence if you don't know what you'll receive? I can not recommend this product.

I ordered the full set 8kg-32kg kettlebells. I have been training with kettlebells for a few years and recently got into kettlebell sport, so I was ready to make the leap to a pro set. This set is really well made. They come out of Texas, so shipping was from there instead of Ohio; otherwise, shipping was really fast (Rogue Customer Service is top notch). I have bought pro grade bells before from other manufacturers and they are really poor quality - paint flakes off, handles are rough and the overall construction is substandard. Not these. Ader makes a top end bell with heavy duty paint, well constructed and balanced, and the handles are nearly perfect (I took a 320 grade paper to them just to get them as smooth as I could). They were well shaped and had little if not any flaws in them. Other than the minor sanding, these were perfect. I highly recommend these kettlebells and the full set came with free shipping - that alone saved me hundreds of dollars. I would purchase from them again.

I got my 16KG Pro Grade Ader Pro Grade in the mail today. I wasn't sure what to expect, so I grabbed the 16. I will be ordering a 24 and 32 shortly now that I have had the chance to check this out. The size is perfect, and the balance is dead on. The casting quality is excellent, and the handle is perfectly smooth. After using more generic KB's at my gym, this is a welcome change for my hands. I'm excited to get the rest in.
