Rogue P-4 Pull-Up System

Manufactured in the USA using the same 1x2" 11-Gauge Steel as our full-scale rigs and racks, the versatile Rogue P-4 Pull-Up System is a single, compact unit optimized for wall mounts and ceiling mounts*. Once anchored securely to concrete or wood studs, the P-4’s pull-up bar will be positioned at a 30” depth from the wall/ceiling. That’s 8” more than the depth of the P-3 Pull-up system, allowing more room for kipping movements.

The complete P-4 Pull-Up System comes standard with a 52” Pull-Up Bar, and can serve as a dependable rings station, as well. If you want to expand the set-up for more athletes, you can daisy-chain additional brackets together by spacing them out 3-4 feet apart, then running a single 1” steel tube/1.25” OD pipe through all of the brackets (5 brackets, for example, would create a 16-foot pull-up bar). In most cases, this type of pipe can be purchased at your local hardware store.

*For ceiling mounts, the P-4 is often the best option if your ceiling height is above 9’6”. If the height is between 8’ and 9’6”, a P-3 System could be a better option.

Solid as a rock!
I received this last night and installed it right away. What can you say about the great quality of the steel and the great finish. It is nice to see a product so well made, especially these days. This pull up bar is rock solid and simple to install. Just make sure you get it level and hit those studs. Super simple installation and rock solid performance! I highly recommend!

P4 Pull Up Bar
I just used my bar for the first time today. It is a very solid bar. Doing switch grip pull ups and there was no movement. Once installed properly, it should provide many years of hard use. The reason I did not give it 5 stars: finish (proper packaging during shipment), and priced a little high. When I received the unit, it appears there was some shifting and scraped off some of the powder coating on one of the brackets. Price compared to some of the competition (i.e. Hammerhead Fitness made in USA), they are a little high since shipping is not included. Product is made in the USA and I will always pay more for that.

Excellent product, very solid
Received my P4 very quickly and installed it the next day. Everything was very smooth with the installation except one thing. Loosen the screws that are used to mount the bar prior to mounting the brackets. The screws were powder coated and set in place pretty good. Used some WD40 and cranked them loose. Very happy with the system, my son and I have been on it every day since we got it. Rogue products have always been good to go.

This thing is Awesome! Look no further.
If you are serious about doing pull-ups, or you need extra swing space for assistance, bands, foot-on-chair, whatever you will be unhappy will most of the other pull-up bars on the market. You will NOT be happy with other less-expensive stud/wall mounters. I had a $60-$80 16" stud mounted wall bar and it was OK, but not great. My feet were hitting the wall, etc. etc. I'm pretty weak so this thing gives my girlfriend plenty of room to push my ass up. As for the door frame mounted versions...eh.., why put yourself through that. I used 3/8", 4.5" long lag bolts with 15/64" pilot holes in to wood studs 16" apart. There is a similar bar, similar price on the market. I almost bought that, but then I looked at how much more easily this one can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. On the wall, I can mount this much higher , as high as I want. That other bar has very long feet on either side, so you can't really mount it that high on an 8ft wall. I'm very happy with this one so far.

Amazing
I mounted this system on my garage wall (3/8" x 3.5" lag screws) and have been using it for about 6 months now. There's plenty of room for kipping and the bar shows no signs of budging with 200+ pounds of body weight. Previously, I used a pull-up bar that mounts on to a door frame. I was unsure if I wanted to spend the money on this system, but am definitely glad I did. The construction is solid and the feel of the bar is great! Plus, it's Rogue. Enough said.

Great Customer Service
I had an issue with paypal which cancelled my order... I relayed this to Rogue and they emailed me back in 9 minutes...on the Sunday morning after Thanksgiving! Problem solved. Great customer service. As for the rig, it's super solid and pretty easy to install if you're handy. I used 3/8" x 3.5" lag bolts and washers installed over sheetrock into the studs.
