I bought one to act as an anchor for a double-end bag (in England it's called a floor to ceiling bag). I put a 45 # Olympic weight on it on the floor, then run my bungee cord above it to my punching bag and from there to a rope to the ceiling hook. This way I don't have to damage the floor with a drilled anchor. Also I like it better than those anchors that need to be filled with sand or water. Of course I could just tie the bungee around the weight without the pin but the addition of the pin is the best solution in my opinion. It works.

I have 2 of these that I got with the Rogue yoke from the games and they are awesome. makes it easy to load weight for weighted dips or pullups use them for grip strength attaching anything you can think of.... I'm happy to have them
